1. About Advocate Network
Advocate Network is an independent legal-tech platform connecting individuals and businesses with independently licensed advocates across Sindh. Advocate Network is managed, developed, and operated by Capital Innovation Business. Advocate Network is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice itself, and is not affiliated with the Government of Pakistan or any Bar Council.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Advocates must hold an active, verifiable license with their respective Bar Council to register on the platform.
3. Role of the Platform
- Advocate Network verifies advocate licensing information but does not guarantee the outcome of any legal matter.
- The relationship between a client and an advocate is a direct professional relationship; Advocate Network facilitates the connection and related tools (booking, payments, case tracking, messaging).
- Advocate Network is not a party to the legal representation itself.
4. Advocate Responsibilities
- Provide accurate license and identity information at registration.
- Respond to client requests and scheduled consultations in a timely manner.
- Maintain client confidentiality in line with professional obligations and this platform's Privacy Policy.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your case so you can be matched appropriately.
- Make payments through the platform rather than off-platform, so your payment remains protected.
- Use the messaging and document tools respectfully and lawfully.
6. Oversight of Delayed or Disputed Cases
Advocate Network maintains an administrative oversight committee that reviews delayed, stalled, or disputed case requests, investigates the cause, and works toward a resolution between the client and advocate.
7. Account Suspension
Accounts (client or advocate) may be suspended for fraudulent information, repeated unresolved complaints, or misuse of the platform's payment or messaging systems.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
